And you thought we actually did work in school....

Over the last two weeks Nate Holton and I have been making an
animation in our
class. We were given the topic responsibility to
revolve our animation around.
We took our own spin on it and
decided to have some fun. The end result...
Old man Jenkins.

So without further a due:
Our Awesome Animation!

Lets add some text to this baby!

Well, I finally thought of something to write about. It is actually about my little brother. According to Facebook, he has been quite bored this summer. And in talking to him personally I knew that he wanted a job. But even after applying to virtually every store within a 5 mile radius, he was still without a job.

So I decided to see if I could help him out being the kind and loving brother that I am. He and I are both good at a program called flash. It allows the user to create and animate whatever they want. He has always been better at it than me though, due to the fact that he can actually draw.
So i found a website called "99 designs."

Quoting from the site, "Need something designed? 99designs connects clients needing design work such as logo designs, business cards or web sites to a thriving community of 16,605 talented designers." So a business creates a contest with specific guidelines about how they want there logo. And the designers on the site use their creativity to come up with unique logos. After a set time period the contest holder picks a logo from a designer that he/she liked best.

I told Ryan about the site and he decided to check it out. After entering five contests and losing. He finally got some one who liked his initial design and after having Ryan tweak a few things it was made just to the contest holder's liking. So Ryan ended up making a hundred dollars. Which is like a thousand dollars to Ryan. And I am the unnoticed hero that gets nothing out of it. Just kidding, I am happy that I was able to help him out.
